While it is not sponsored, run, or affiliated with the NWPC per se, it is a great way for pilots to keep in touch regarding who is flying where and when. Insurance for Extreme Sports

There is an insurance package that covers paragliding and other extreme sports while traveling abroad.  It is about $100 for 30 days and may be worth a look if you are heading overseas to fly.  It is called Patriot Extreme and can be purchased through many insurance brokers, including:
